Palácio das Indústrias, Convention center and museum in Sé District, Brazil.
The Palácio das Indústrias occupies 12,000 square meters with 250 installations divided into four sections: Universe, Life, Engineering, and Society sections for educational purposes.
Built in 1924 by architect Domiziano Rossi, the building first hosted industrial exhibitions before transforming into a legislative assembly and later becoming City Hall.
The Catavento Museum inside the Palácio features exhibits about space exploration, including a reproduction of the lunar surface where Neil Armstrong walked.
Located in Parque Dom Pedro II, the Palácio das Indústrias contains multiple exhibition spaces across different floors connected by wide staircases and elevators.
The building includes a 50-meter spire, a 47.5-meter dome roof, and contains former jail cells from its period as Public Security Secretariat headquarters.
