The Museu Histórico de Jaboticabal occupies a 1920s mansion built by Syrian immigrant Azizi Abicalil, featuring multiple exhibition rooms across its grand spaces.
Established by Municipal Law 664 on November 17, 1965, the museum opened to the public on July 16, 1979, during the city's 71st-anniversary celebrations.
The museum holds 10,000 artifacts, including archaeological findings, historical objects, photographs, and artworks that represent the regional development of Jaboticabal.
The facility maintains a specialized library focused on local history and operates regular educational programs for schools and community groups throughout the year.
In 2008, the museum incorporated a dedicated Railway Room following a significant donation of Brazilian railroad historical items from Antônio Sérgio Brito.
