Edifício Diederichsen

The Edifício Diederichsen is a six-story building made of concrete with geometric decorations in the center of Ribeirão Preto. It sits where three major streets meet and contains multiple commercial spaces across its floors.

The building was constructed between 1934 and 1936 and was the first high-rise in Ribeirão Preto. It marked a shift away from coffee investments toward urban development after the economic crisis of 1929.

The building once housed a large cinema, a café, and a bar where residents gathered for entertainment and social life. These spaces shaped how the city's people spent their time and connected with each other.
