The Museu de Arte de Ribeirão Preto showcases Brazilian and international artworks through permanent and temporary exhibitions in its central location.
Established in 1992, the museum has developed into a significant cultural institution that preserves and exhibits contemporary art from the region.
The museum maintains two specialized libraries, including the Leopoldo Lima collection focusing on contemporary art and the Pedro Manuel-Gismondi collection with 4,000 items.
Visitors can explore the museum Tuesday through Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 5:30 PM, with special Saturday openings from 9 AM to 3 PM.
In 2024, the museum hosts the ANO MACALÉ celebration, marking fifty years of artistic production by Jaime Domingos Cruz through exhibitions and events.
