Goianira

Goianira is a municipality in central Goiás located northwest of the state capital. The town serves as a residential and agricultural center for the surrounding region.

The settlement originated in 1920 and went through several name changes before becoming Goianira in 1943. This progression reflects the evolving history of settlement and community formation in the region.
