Granja do Torto, Presidential country residence in Setor Habitacional Torto, Brazil

Granja do Torto is the Presidency's ranch-style residence in the Setor Habitacional Torto, on the far tip of Asa Norte in Brasília, beside the Ribeirão do Torto. Its 36 hectares hold an artificial lake and stream, a swimming pool, a football pitch, a multisport arena, a helipad and native forest. A blue two-panel sign with white capitals marks the entrance.

The property was established in the late 1950s when Brasília itself was being constructed, with its first resident connected to the city's early development. Since then it has served as an alternate residence for Brazilian leaders during their time in office.

The residence holds works from the Presidency's art collection, among them Philip Sutton's painting "Italian pot with flowers" and screen prints by Carlos Scliar. Lula used the farm for traditional June festivals (festas juninas) for government members, staff and friends, and in 2020 Economy Minister Paulo Guedes lived there at Jair Bolsonaro's invitation.

The residence is not open to the public: it is a working property of the Presidency, and access is by invitation or official arrangement only. It sits at the far end of the Asa Norte, on the banks of the Ribeirão do Torto, roughly 15 km from the centre of Brasília, so reaching it requires a car or taxi.

The name may come from Adão Guedes, an overseer at the farm in São Borja who lost an eye to barbed wire and wore a glass eye, becoming known as "o Torto". This account, told by his acquaintance Manoel Ribas Guedes, is unverified.
