The park includes Espaço Cravo, an outdoor art space with hundreds of sculptures and paintings by Brazilian artists displayed throughout the grounds. This cultural zone sits within the natural landscape, creating a blend between contemporary art and forest environment.
The park is open daily and offers roughly 18 kilometers of paths for cycling and walking throughout different zones. It helps to wear comfortable shoes and bring water if planning to spend several hours exploring the grounds.
The lake within the park covers around 200 hectares and represents the largest water body in Salvador's metropolitan region. This body of water serves visitors for recreation while also supporting the local ecosystem.
