The white church structure features a main facade facing the Bay of All Saints, with a small lighthouse constructed meters from the chapel.
Founded in the 17th century by landowner Domingos Rodrigues, the church received official recognition as an IPAC historic heritage site in 2002.
The church celebrates its main religious festival on December 12th, dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe, the patron saint of the diocese.
The religious building maintains regular Catholic services under the administration of the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia.
The architectural complex includes a small hermitage, nave, vaulted main chapel, sacristy, and a small cemetery behind the main structure.
