Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, Catholic church on Isle of the Friars, Salvador, Brazil

Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe stands on Ilha dos Frades, its main facade facing the bar of the Baía de Todos-os-Santos. The chapel consists of a small nave, a chancel covered by a vault, and a sacristy; a small cemetery lies at the rear. A lighthouse built a few metres away stands beside it.

Founded in the 17th century, the chapel's exact foundation date is unknown. Frei Agostinho de Santa Maria wrote in 1711 that its founder was Domingos Rodrigues, a devout landowner of these lands. In 2002 the church was listed as historic heritage by IPAC, Bahia's heritage institute.

The church is dedicated to the veneration of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a figure deeply meaningful to believers in this region. Visitors notice how the simple spaces inside draw people together for prayer and celebration throughout the year.
