Guarajuba

Guarajuba is a beach in Camaçari with wide sandy areas and calm waters that invite swimming along the Atlantic coast. The shoreline stretches over several kilometers, offering space for different water activities and relaxation.

The area was once a small coastal settlement until the BA-099 highway connected it to Salvador and transformed it into a developed beach destination. This infrastructure change opened the region to more visitors and economic growth.

The beach earned the Blue Flag certification, which recognizes high environmental and water quality standards that set it apart from other regional beaches. The protected lagoons nearby attract wildlife and create a natural buffer that keeps the water clean.
