Itaporanga

Itaporanga is a municipality in Paraíba state in northeastern Brazil, situated in hilly terrain. The administrative center and local services are concentrated in a compact downtown area.

The municipality was established as part of Brazil's territorial reorganization in the 1900s and received its current administrative status. These changes were part of the broader development of regional administrative structures in the northeast.
