Boland Stadium

Boland Stadium is a sports arena in Wellington designed primarily for regional rugby competitions and can accommodate around 11,000 spectators. The grass playing field and surrounding seating areas form a permanent venue for local and national teams.

The arena opened in 1997 and replaced the Wellington Cricket Ground to accommodate modern sporting events. With this modernization, the region gained a new venue that met contemporary sporting requirements.
