Gambir 2 is a Transjakarta bus stop on Jalan Silang Merdeka Tenggara in Gambir, Central Jakarta. It sits on Corridor 2, which runs west to east, and is close to Gambir railway station, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the US Embassy, the Ministry of Trade and the National Monument.

Gambir 2 is a Transjakarta bus stop on Corridor 2, which runs west to east across Jakarta. It stands on Jalan Silang Merdeka Tenggara in Kelurahan Gambir, Central Jakarta. After the renaming of Transjakarta stops, it kept its number, as did Harapan Indah 1 and 2, Puri Beta 1 and 2, and CSW 1 and 2; the nearby Gambir 1 later dropped its number.

The halt takes its name from the Gambir district where it stands. After Transjakarta neutralised its halt names, Gambir 2 kept its serial number, as did Harapan Indah 1 and 2, Puri Beta 1 and 2 and CSW 1 and 2 at the Cakra Selaras Wahana transport hub. The nearby Gambir 1 halt lost its number in the same process.

Gambir 2 sits on Jalan Silang Merdeka Tenggara in Kelurahan Gambir, on Corridor 2, which runs west to east across the city. It is a bus stop, not a rail station, so transfers to trains are made on foot to nearby Gambir station. Non-BRT city bus route 1P also calls here, sometimes with MetroTrans EV vehicles.

Gambir 2 is one of the few Transjakarta stops that kept its number after the network's stop renaming, alongside Harapan Indah 1 and 2, Puri Beta 1 and 2, and CSW 1 and 2 at Cakra Selaras Wahana. The nearby Gambir 1 stop lost its number in the same renaming.
