Pancoran

Pancoran is an administrative district in South Jakarta, located between the Ciliwung and Mampang rivers. The area consists of six urban villages and is characterized by a mix of residential and commercial neighborhoods.

Pancoran was established as an independent district in 1990 after separating from Mampang Prapatan. This administrative division was created to better manage the area's development and growing population.

The Kalibata National Heroes Cemetery within Pancoran district stands as a memorial ground honoring numerous Indonesian national figures and military personnel.

The area is easily accessible through Kapten Tendean Road, Jend Gatot Subroto, and the Jakarta Inner Ring Road network. Visitors should expect regular traffic congestion during peak hours and consider using public transportation or alternative routes.
