Kenjeran Bridge

Kenjeran Bridge is a through arch bridge spanning across the coastal area of Eastern Surabaya, connecting two neighborhoods with a curved main structure. It features wide paths for pedestrians and vehicles, with a central fountain that marks the structure.

Construction started in 2015 and was completed in 2016 to connect the amusement park area with a nearby fisheries center. The project was part of an urban development effort to improve access in the eastern part of the city.

The bridge connects two popular coastal spots and locals use it for walks to enjoy the sea views. You will see families strolling here and fishermen working in the nearby waters.

The bridge was built using drainage stakes driven deep into the soft seabed to anchor it, showing how engineers worked with local conditions. This construction method makes it an interesting example of modern coastal building techniques in this region.
