North Lombok Regency

North Lombok Regency encompasses 809 square kilometers of coastal areas and mountainous terrain, with Tanjung serving as its administrative capital.

The regency gained independence from West Lombok in 2008, establishing five administrative districts that include Pemenang, Tanjung, Gangga, Kayangan, and Bayan.

The Sasak people form the primary ethnic group in North Lombok, maintaining their native language and traditional practices alongside Indonesian national customs.

Regular speedboat services connect the Bangsal harbor to neighboring islands, while public transportation networks link the main districts within the regency.
