North Luwu

North Luwu Regency spans 7,502 square kilometers of land with mountains and valleys, containing fifteen distinct administrative districts with Masamba as its capital.

The regency emerged on April 20, 1999, when the northern section of Luwu Regency separated during Indonesia's governmental reform movement toward regional autonomy.
