Saluopa waterfall, Tiered waterfall in Lebone Village, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Saluopa waterfall in Lebone Village is a tiered natural formation with twelve levels where water cascades down rocky surfaces. The entire structure drops 25 meters in height and creates several natural pools between each tier.
This waterfall became more widely known after 2007 when travelers started documenting their visits to the natural formation. Its location near Lake Poso made it increasingly accessible to visitors from the surrounding region.
Local inhabitants of Central Sulawesi maintain the stone pathways connecting each tier, preserving access to this natural water formation for future generations.
Visitors can reach all twelve levels using stone stairs and have access to swimming spots at different heights. The climb up and down requires careful footing, so wear water-resistant shoes during your visit.
Water originates from mountain springs higher up and flows continuously through the multiple rocky tiers. This steady water supply makes the place worth visiting year-round, regardless of the season.
