Largs Pier Hotel

Largs Pier Hotel is a three-story bluestone building with stuccoed arcades at 198 Esplanade, overlooking the coastline of the Lefevre Peninsula. The structure contains accommodation rooms, self-contained apartments, and spaces designed for gatherings and entertainment.

The hotel was established in 1882 as the railway and pier at Largs Bay were being developed. It became the primary lodging for European immigrants during their initial nights arriving in Australia.

The building served as a significant music venue where performers such as AC/DC, Cold Chisel, and Split Enz took the stage in front of local crowds. Musicians and fans gathered here regularly, making it an important social hub for the entertainment scene.
