Operating from 1984 to 1992, Leisureland Fair provided entertainment for families before being transformed into a residential housing estate.
A steam train transported visitors from the parking area to the main entrance, creating an introduction to the entertainment experience.
The Function Centre building, known as The Castle, remains on site and now serves as the Bait-ul-Salam Mosque and cultural centre.
