Taylors Lakes

Taylors Lakes is a residential suburb west of Melbourne bounded by major roads and the Bendigo railway line. The Watergardens Town Centre anchors the area with hundreds of shops, restaurants, a cinema, and a railway station providing transport connections.

Development began in the 1970s when houses replaced rural farmland across the area. Official recognition as a suburb came in 1994.

The 2021 census revealed a population of 16,910 residents with strong Italian, English, Maltese, and Greek ancestral connections in the community.
