City of Glen Eira

City of Glen Eira is an administrative division spanning roughly 39 square kilometers in southeastern Melbourne. The area includes residential neighborhoods, parks, schools, and other facilities serving more than 156,000 people.

The area was created in 1994 through the merger of Caulfield City and parts of Moorabbin City into a new administrative unit. This consolidation established the current structure of local government in this southeastern part of Melbourne.
