Snowy River National Park

The Snowy River National Park extends across 98,700 hectares of mountains, forests, and rivers in the Alpine and East Gippsland regions of Victoria.

European settlers began utilizing the land for summer grazing and silver mining activities in the 1840s, shaping the early development of the region.

The Little River Gorge within the park stands as Victoria's deepest gorge, dropping 610 meters over a 14-kilometer stretch to meet the Snowy River.
