Saints Peter and Paul's Old Cathedral

Saints Peter and Paul's Old Cathedral is a Gothic Revival church building in Goulburn with a cruciform design and soaring interior proportions. The structure features Victorian bluestone columns, colorful stained glass windows filling the walls, and a long nave that draws the eye toward the sanctuary.

Construction of this cathedral began in 1871 under architect Andrea Stombuco and proceeded in phases. The initial phase was completed in 1872, while final additions to the building were finished in 1890.
