Coolah Tops National Park

Coolah Tops National Park sits where the Warrumbungle and Liverpool ranges meet, preserving eucalypt forests, snow gums, and giant grass trees across its landscape. The vegetation shifts with elevation, creating different habitats that support various animal species.

The park has multiple camping grounds such as Coxs Creek, The Barracks, and The Pines, plus Brackens Hut for those preferring indoor stays. The cooler months offer the most comfortable conditions for walking the trails.

The park is home to rare owl species and gliders that people often overlook even though they move through the forests regularly. Waterfalls and lookout points tucked along the trails offer surprisingly rewarding moments while exploring.
