Petersham Town Hall, Municipal building in Inner West Sydney, Australia.

Petersham Town Hall is a heritage-listed civic building at 107 Crystal Street, designed by Rudder & Grout and completed in 1938 in the Inter-War Stripped Classical style. Its strong vertical elements and exposed brickwork face the former Marrickville council administration building opposite. Inside, largely intact Art Deco interiors surround the main hall.

The first town hall on the site, designed by Thomas Rowe in the Victorian Renaissance Revival style, was opened on 19 April 1882 and demolished in 1937. Its replacement by Rudder & Grout was completed in 1938 and housed the Petersham Municipal Council until 1948, when Petersham was absorbed into the Municipality of Marrickville. The council stayed until 1974, then moved to new offices across the street.

The hall's intact Art Deco interiors have drawn film and television crews; Baz Luhrmann shot Strictly Ballroom (1992) here, and A Place to Call Home, 60 Minutes and Paper Giants also filmed on site. The building is also used as a community centre and meeting hall.

The building can be arranged in different configurations to suit standing events, theater-style seating, or banquet formats depending on the occasion. Visitors planning to use the space should arrange visits in advance since availability and setup options depend on the type of event.

The 1937–38 building was the seat of Petersham Municipal Council only until 1948, when the Municipality of Marrickville absorbed Petersham; it then served Marrickville until the council moved across the street in 1974. Its largely intact Art Deco interiors later made it a filming location for Baz Luhrmann's Strictly Ballroom (1992).
