Tarpeian Rock, (Geological feature) Rock face which derives its name from the famous rock on the Capitoline Hill in Rome, Italy. A stairway constructed in the 1880s connects the Sydney Opera House to the top of the rock and Domain and is known as the Tarpeian Way.
