Scheyville National Park, National park in northwestern Sydney, Australia

Scheyville National Park spans 920 hectares of woodland and wetland ecosystems, featuring Longneck Lagoon in the northern section of the protected area.

The land belonged to Dharug people for 30,000 years before European settlement in the 1790s transformed it into Pitt Town Common for grazing purposes.

The park served as a migration center from 1950 to 1964, welcoming thousands of new Australians who started their transition to citizenship in these grounds.

The park remains open from 8 AM to 6 PM during winter months and extends hours until 8 PM from September through April for visitor access.

Military forces utilized this location for training during World War II, including the 73rd Australian Anti-Aircraft Searchlight Company and RAAF 1st Parachute Battalion.
