Richmond Park

Richmond Park occupies a central location in Richmond and features maintained green spaces with multiple pathways throughout the grounds. Designated picnic areas and open lawns provide space for outdoor activities and gatherings.

Governor Lachlan Macquarie founded the park in 1810, with James Meehan conducting the initial land survey the following year. These early actions laid the groundwork for organized public green space in the region.
