Beaudesert is the main township of Scenic Rim Region located south of Brisbane in southeastern Queensland. The town includes shops, banks, doctors, schools, and buses serving the area and connecting to nearby cities.
Scenic Rim Region was formed in 2008 through the merger of several former councils, including parts of the Shire of Beaudesert and Shire of Boonah. This consolidation reshaped the governance of the areas south of Brisbane.
