The Royal Bull's Head Inn stands as a two-story timber and brick structure with weatherboard walls and distinctive dormer windows on Brisbane Street.
Constructed in 1859 by ex-convict William Horton, the establishment gained its royal designation following a visit from Queensland Governor Bowen in 1860.
The inn functioned as a central gathering point for squatters and travelers, hosting auctions and social events between Moreton Bay and Darling Downs.
The National Trust of Queensland maintains the property as a museum, charging entry fees of $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 3-13.
Monthly paranormal evenings take place at the inn, where visitors explore rooms containing original nineteenth-century artifacts and Lynch family furniture.
