Clifford House, Toowoomba, Historic residence in Toowoomba, Australia.

Clifford House is a sandstone and brick building with timber balconies, decorative gables, and terracotta tile roofs located at 120 Russell Street. The two-story structure now contains office space and meeting rooms following significant interior renovation work.

The building was constructed between 1865 and 1870 and originally served as a gentlemen's club. It was named after the birthplace of James Taylor, a key figure who shaped Toowoomba's early growth.

The building displays hand-painted doors, marble tiles, and pressed metal ceilings from the Victorian era. These crafted details remain visible today and show how skilled artisans worked during the late 1800s.

The building now houses office space and meeting areas that were updated during extensive renovation work completed in 2019. Access may be limited depending on current office activities on the property.

The property is surrounded by mature Jacaranda, Camellia, and Magnolia trees that have shaped the garden since early times. These established plants create a lush green setting around the Victorian structure.
