McLeod Country Golf Club, 18-hole golf course in Mount Ommaney, Brisbane, Australia
The golf course extends across 60 acres of land with undulating greens, fairways, and natural parkland areas near Mount Ommaney Creek.
Founded in 1968, the club purchased its land for one dollar on September 20th, with the initial nine-hole layout completed in 1972.
The club honors Gertrude McLeod, who led the Queensland Ladies Golf Union for 30 years and Australian Ladies Golf Union for five years.
The course measures 5487 meters for members and features Tifdwarf 328 Bermuda greens with common couch fairways for optimal playing conditions.
McLeod Country Golf Club stands as the first Australian golf club to grant women equal rights and remains among few globally managed entirely by female members.
