The Holy Triad Temple features a rectangular brick structure topped with triple roofs adorned with Chinese terracotta tiles and ceramic mythological figures.
Built between 1885 and 1886, the temple served as a central gathering point for five Cantonese clans who contributed to Brisbane's fresh produce supply.
The temple interior displays three sections with carved altars, deity statues, traditional silks, embroideries, lanterns, and lamps representing Chinese religious practices.
Located at 32 Higgs Street in Albion, the temple offers guided tours and maintains regular visiting hours for those interested in Chinese heritage.
This temple stands as one of only three surviving nineteenth-century Chinese temples in Queensland, alongside structures in Rockhampton and Atherton.
