Noosa National Park

The coastal park spans three sections - Noosa Headland, Emu Mountain, and Peregian - with walking trails and ocean vistas along the Queensland shore.

The Queensland Department of National Parks established this protected area in 2007 to preserve coastal ecosystems and native wildlife populations.

The land holds deep meaning for Aboriginal communities who maintained connections with the coastal environment through generations of traditional practices.

Visitors access the park through the main entrance near Hastings Street, with additional entry points at Park Road and the Noosa Headland day-use area.

The coastal walking track extends 10.8 kilometers, offering views of migrating humpback whales between June and October along the Coral Sea.
