Bell Park, Emu Park, Heritage-listed park in Emu Park, Australia.
Bell Park is a heritage-listed green space covering about 11 hectares in Emu Park, featuring open lawns, mature hoop pines, and coconut palms along its edges. The grounds include concrete pathways, footbridges, play equipment, and toilet facilities throughout.
The park was first set aside for public purposes in 1892 and later designated as a Reserve for Botanic Gardens in 1899. These two designations mark its gradual development from general public space into a planned green area.
The park takes its name from an early settler. Visitors today use the pathways and seating areas that were developed by the Emu Park Ladies Improvement League.
The grounds are easy to navigate on foot, with paved pathways and bridges for safe movement throughout. Plenty of seating and toilet facilities are available, making it comfortable to spend time here.
The park preserves a timber tower that once served as a judges box for races in the early 1900s. This structure stands as a quiet reminder of the sporting events that once drew crowds to the area.
