The Moose's Tooth, Technical climbing peak in Denali National Park, Alaska.

The Moose's Tooth rises 10,335 feet above sea level, featuring vertical rock faces and extended ice couloirs on the eastern side of Ruth Gorge.

Four German mountaineers, Walter Welsch, Klaus Bierl, Arnold Hasenkopf, and Alfons Reichegger, completed the first ascent of the summit in June 1964.

The mountain received its name from the United States Geological Survey based on an Athabascan translation, replacing its original designation as Mount Hubbard.

Climbers access the mountain via ski planes landing on the Buckskin Glacier or Root Canal, with Talkeetna serving as the primary departure point.

The Ham and Eggs Route, established by Jon Krakauer in 1975, extends 2,500 vertical feet and remains the most frequently climbed path to the summit.
