Corona Stadium, Football stadium in Torreón, Mexico

Corona Stadium is the 30,000-seat football ground of Santos Laguna within the Territorio Santos Modelo complex in Torreón. Its five seating levels hold 112 suites and two superpalcos, and the facade of horizontal metal louvers carries a wide green banner reading "FIFA U-17 WORLD CUP MEXICO 2011" above "TORREON CAPITAL MUNDIAL DE LA PLATA".

The venue opened in 2009 as the new home of the local professional team, replacing older playing grounds in the region. Its construction was part of modernizing the city's sports infrastructure during that time.

The stadium inherited the nickname "La Casa del Dolor Ajeno" in its early years, changed in 2016 to "El Templo del Desierto". During the 2011 U-17 World Cup, the Laguna crowd adopted Uzbekistan's national team as a favourite. The facade carries the sign "Torreón Capital Mundial de la Plata".

The stadium sits within the Territorio Santos Modelo complex and has 2,504 parking spaces. It is divided into five levels, with 112 suites and two superpalcos, and includes an area for people with disabilities. The main entrance is on the side facing the parking row seen in photos, under the green 2011 U-17 World Cup banner.

The stadium's nickname changed in 2016 from "La Casa del Dolor Ajeno" (the House of Others' Pain) to "El Templo del Desierto" (the Temple of the Desert). The earlier name referred to the discomfort visiting teams felt playing there.
