Sheats Goldstein Residence, Private residence in Beverly Crest, United States.
The Sheats Goldstein Residence features concrete walls, glass panels, and wooden elements integrated into a sandstone hill with views of Los Angeles.
Architect John Lautner designed and constructed this private residence between 1961 and 1963 for Helen and Paul Sheats before James Goldstein acquired it in 1972.
The residence gained recognition through its appearances in multiple films, including its role as Jackie Treehorn's house in The Big Lebowski.
The residence incorporates natural ventilation systems and 750 drinking glasses in the roof that function as skylights to illuminate the interior spaces.
The building's triangular design conceals five bedrooms and bathrooms behind diverging glass walls while maintaining open access to the main living areas.
