The Katherine Emery Estate is a Tudor Revival house at 1155 Oak Grove Avenue in San Marino, completed in 1928 to a design by Myron Hunt. Its exterior has multiple gable ends and dormers with carved bargeboards and half-timbering, alongside stucco walls, grouped casement windows and a steep roof. Inside are a Tudor great hall with a staircase, tracery windows and oak woodwork.

Architect Myron Hunt designed the house as a California interpretation of English Tudor style. The project emerged during a period when wealthy families adapted European designs for their homes on the West Coast.

The house is named for Katherine Sinclair Emery, who commissioned it, not for the 1940s Hollywood actress Katherine Emery. Inside, a Tudor great hall with a staircase, tracery windows and oak woodwork shows the social rooms of a 1928 residence. The property remains a private home, so these interiors are not open to visitors.

The house stands at 1155 Oak Grove Avenue in San Marino, set back from the street in a residential neighborhood. It remains a private residence as of 2025, so visitors can only view the exterior from the public sidewalk. The National Trust for Historic Preservation acquired the property in 2018 while the former owners retained life tenancy.

The gardens were designed by renowned landscape architects Florence Yoch and Lucile Council, who created specialized areas for cutting flowers, vegetables, and grape cultivation. These practical garden spaces show how early 20th-century landscape design combined beauty with function.
