Golden Zephyr, Retro amusement ride in Paradise Gardens Park, Disney California Adventure, United States.
The Golden Zephyr features six silver rocket-shaped vessels that rotate around a central tower, offering views over Paradise Bay.
The ride, which opened in February 2001, draws inspiration from the early 20th-century Harry Traver Circle-Swing rides at Riverview Park in Chicago.
The design incorporates elements from 1920s seaside boardwalks and science fiction aesthetics of Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon space vessels.
Each of the six vehicles accommodates twelve passengers in two rows, with the entire experience lasting approximately ninety seconds.
The ride cannot operate when wind speeds exceed 10 miles per hour constant or 15 miles per hour gusts due to safety requirements.
