Mummy Mountain

Mummy Mountain in Paradise Valley rises to approximately 2,260 feet with slopes containing both residential houses and protected natural areas. The upper sections feature a mix of private land and conserved spaces.

The mountain received its name in the 1940s from its resemblance to an Egyptian mummy lying on its side. Land conservation efforts followed through local initiatives over the following decades.
