Catedral de Hermosillo

The Cathedral of the Assumption in Hermosillo is a baroque structure featuring two prominent towers, a central dome, and a detailed stone facade. The building dominates the downtown area with its distinctive architectural character and proportions.

Construction began in 1877 under Bishop Herculano López de la Mora and concluded with the official consecration in 1908. A central dome was added later in 1963, which became a defining feature of the city's religious landscape.
