Monumento a Jorge Isaacs

The Monumento a Jorge Isaacs is a monument in Cali made of Carrara marble sculptures depicting characters from the novel Maria alongside a bust of the author. The composition brings together multiple figures in a carefully arranged artistic arrangement.

The monument was commissioned in 1920 by women from Cali and Buga to honor the writer. Catalan sculptor Luis A. Parrera created this memorial.
