Judibana, city in Venezuela
Judibana is a planned community in Falcón comprising several residential areas including Campo Médico, Los Bloques, and Urbanización Adaro. These neighborhoods are connected by a network of modern streets that organize the settlement's layout.
In 1948, the architectural firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill designed the urban layout of Judibana to replace the former Adaro oil field settlement. This planned structure developed as part of regional development efforts in Falcón.
The community has two sports clubs that have operated for decades as gathering spaces for residents. These centers remain important social meeting points where families come together and local traditions continue.
The Dr. Jesús García Coello pediatric hospital is the only specialized children's medical facility in Falcón State and serves the region's healthcare needs. Visitors should note that this facility primarily functions as a healthcare center for the local population.
The city was designed as a hub for oil field development and supports the nearby Amuay refinery with expertise from Venezuelan and international energy specialists. This specialized function makes the settlement an important node in the region's industrial operations.
