Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey

The museum occupies a minimalist post-modern structure with eleven exhibition halls, two courtyards, and a bronze dove sculpture at its entrance.

Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta designed this 16,000-square-meter museum, which opened its doors to the public in 1991.

The permanent collection features contemporary Latin American artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and installations from Mexican and regional artists.

The museum provides wheelchair accessibility, guided architectural tours, an auditorium, a restaurant serving Mexican cuisine, and a gift shop.

Natural and artificial light arrangements create balanced illumination throughout the exhibition spaces, enhancing the viewing experience of contemporary artworks.
