The Donna-Río Bravo International Bridge extends 1,800 feet across the Rio Grande, connecting Farm to Market Road 493 in Texas to Federal Highway 2D in Mexico.
The international bridge began operations on December 14, 2010, initially designed for non-commercial vehicles crossing between the United States and Mexico.
The bridge strengthens connections between Texas and Tamaulipas communities through a dedicated monthly bus service that supports cross-border tourism and shopping activities.
The border crossing remains open daily from 6:00 AM to 9:45 PM, with passenger vehicles paying a toll of 4 dollars or 115 Mexican pesos per crossing.
The Puente Donna mobile application provides real-time traffic updates for northbound travel, displaying current wait times and toll information for bridge users.
