One American Place, Office skyscraper in Downtown Baton Rouge, United States

One American Place is an office building in downtown Baton Rouge with 24 floors rising about 308 feet (94 meters). The entire facade is covered in mirrored glass that reflects the city and sky around it.

The building was completed in 1974 and represented an important step forward for the downtown area. It was one of the first modern high-rises that changed how the city looked and felt.

The building stands as a symbol of modern commercial architecture in Louisiana's capital city, reflecting the growth of business activities in the region.

The building sits in the heart of downtown and is easy to spot when walking along Main Street. The mirrored glass exterior makes it stand out, especially on sunny days.

The glass exterior creates shifting mirror effects throughout the day depending on the sun and clouds. Early morning and sunset hours produce especially striking optical changes in how light bounces off the surface.
