The Baton Rouge City Club occupies a three-story Renaissance Revival building at 355 North Boulevard, featuring extensive terra cotta ornamentation and Italian architectural elements.
Built in 1895 as a U.S. Post Office and federal courthouse, the structure served governmental functions until 1957 when it transformed into a private membership club.
The club connects over 850 members from various business sectors and professional backgrounds, fostering networking and social interactions in downtown Baton Rouge.
The facility includes 14 meeting rooms, a private ballroom with a veranda that accommodates 250 people, and third-floor dining spaces with bar and boardroom facilities.
The building represents one of the most elaborate examples of turn-of-the-20th-century Renaissance Revival architecture found in Louisiana.
