Holy Trinity Catholic Church features 60 stained glass windows and a main altar constructed from Italian marble within its Romanesque Revival architecture.
Built in 1896, this church became the third structure on the site after the first church was established in 1856 by Father Jean Pierre.
Two pastors, Father Jean Pierre and Father Isidore Quemerais, sacrificed their lives caring for the sick during the 1873 Yellow Fever epidemic.
The church maintains its location at 315 Marshall Street in Shreveport, offering regular access to visitors and maintaining a functioning communion rail.
The structure incorporates two Gothic Revival side altars from a former local church, adding architectural elements to its Romanesque design.
