RSA–BankTrust Building

The RSA-BankTrust Building is an office tower in downtown Mobile with 34 floors rising approximately 130 meters (424 feet) into the skyline. The structure features mirrored glass and tinted windows that create a reflective, contemporary appearance throughout the facade.

The building was completed in 1965 and stood as Alabama's tallest structure for two decades. Its prominence in the skyline ended when another high-rise in Birmingham surpassed its height in the mid-1980s.

The building occupies a site central to Mobile's financial landscape, replacing structures that once anchored the downtown economy. This location reflects how the city's business district has evolved and shifted its focus over time.

The building is centrally located in downtown Mobile and easily accessible from surrounding streets. The area contains nearby shops, restaurants, and other offices, making it simple to reach and navigate the neighborhood.

The top floor contains a restaurant where visitors can enjoy views across Mobile and the surrounding landscape. Few people realize this dining space offers one of the best vantage points for seeing the city from above.
